There are two ways in which you can use the pins. The pins can be inserted in the head of the nails to be inserted in the horseshoes, by drilling a hole with an appropriate drill tip. Alternatively, the seat for the pin can be made directly by drilling the surface of the horseshoe Once the pin is placed in the drilled hole, it must be fixed in the seat by using a hammer or a press.
