Bestgrip studs are made of steel and they are quenched and case-hardened. The tip of the studs is made of tungsten, and it is brazed to the body. Therefore, the Bestgrip studs provide high wear resistance, even in the harshest and most adverse conditions.

The studs listed below can support vehicles weighing up to 330 quintals, allowing them to move easily and ensuring excellent grip even in critical situations due icy roads.

Why do we prefer studs to chains?

The use of chains can damage transmissions and tyres while the continuous oscillations cause back pain to drivers. In addition, installing the chains on tyres is tiring and is only possible under certain circumstances. Instead, opting for Bestgrip studs means first and foremost to ensure full safety, as studs are installed at the beginning of winter and will only be removed when no longer needed. The vehicle is always ready to be used safely in whatever road conditions.

Ten years after the introduction of art. 1912-3, the catalogue will be enriched in September 2024 by the addition of art. 1913, a new stud with a diameter of 13 mm and 4.0 mm round head tungsten. Thanks to the larger diameter of the thread and tungsten, the stud can hold up to 330 quintals.
